Ionic Foot Detox

Within the human body are energy channels known in Chinese Medicine as meridians. These meridians provide a pathway for energy to flow to or from a particular organ. These pathways begin or end at points on the feet. A person’s current state of health is determined by how well the energy in the body flows through these meridians. The feet are the largest pathway of the body and have been used for centuries to eliminate toxins. Traditionally, feet were placed in salty sand to detoxify. When negative ions in the body are exposed to pollutants, or other stressors from the environment of unhealthy lifestyles they become positively charged and when in excess are toxic to the body.

Ionic Foot Detox is a safe and painless tool used to detoxify and balance the energy meridians of the body.

How It Works

During the foot bath the body easily absorbs negative ions which neutralize free radicals and allow cells to more readily release toxins and absorb oxygen. At the same time the treatment helps to balance the pH of the body.

Elimination of toxins using the Detox bath happens primarily through the kidney with maximum discharge occurring 6-10 hours after the bath treatment but continues for 1-3 days afterwards as well.

The treatment can be enhanced with the optional use of a far infrared light therapy belt. It is best worn over cotton clothing so please dress appropriately for this portion of the treatment.
